The second annual lax for life was held Saturday on the campus of Mercyhurst University.
The event partnered with The Center for Organ Recovery and Research to spread awareness and raise money for the organ donation community.
Nine men’s and five women’s college lacrosse programs came together to compete in the event including Mercyhurst, Canisius, Akron, and Ohio Wesleyan.
Ryan Scoble is the founder of the event. He says that it’s important to know that a single donor can save up to eight recipients lives through organ donation.
