Penn State Behrend alumnus discusses upcoming election to kick off annual speaker series

A Penn State Behrend grad game back to campus to connect with voters on how the country can rebuild its trust with election officials.

Michigan’s Deputy Director of Elections Adam Fracassi-Wier, kicked off Penn State Behrend’s annual speaker series Monday night about how the nation can come together to build a stronger voting system.

Erie County sees influx of early voters for 2024 election

The deputy director emphasized how Michigan conducted various tests in 2020 to verify election results and said that the election was the most accurate in our nation’s history.

He said he encourages voters to reach out to their election officials about how the process works.

“Trust your election officials. We are across the country nonpartisan like I said. We are nonpartisan election administrators and we have a job to do. Our job is to make sure that voters are able to cast their ballot in whatever way they want to cast their ballot, and then our job is to count those votes,” said Fracassi-Wier.
