The Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy JROTC Pride Battalion rucked from the Bicentennial Tower to Frontier Park and back, just about 5 miles, with backpacks full of donated supplies for veterans.

The donations directly support the EUMA Liberty House, a 10-bed transitional housing program for veterans.
One cadet said the connection between veterans and JROTC inspires him to do this.

“We really really love what we can do for these veterans and we just love supporting them. We see them all the time and obviously, we’re related with JROTC and we understand how the military aspect of life works, especially after the military, and we really just want to give back to them,” said Jack Dobson, a cadet.
People were encouraged to bring non-perishables, personal hygiene items and bedding items.
