Future plans for a former Millcreek Township hotel are continuing in an effort to revitalize the area.
Millcreek Township Supervisor Kim Clear said the remaining portion of the Bel-Aire Hotel will be demolished beginning in December with demolition slated to be completed in February of 2025.

She said the original portion of the hotel was demolished in April.
“After these buildings come down we actually have property that is soiled and grassed and really it’s really a best practice, especially for our stormwater but it also gives a good visual to those developers coming in wanting to see what this land looks like and how expansive it is,” said Clear.
Clear said talks with developers will take place in the spring.
