Reports of roads not being plowed this winter sent some Millcreek residents into a worry.
Township officials reassured that these rumors are not true.
According to Millcreek Township Supervisor Kim Clear, every road in Millcreek Township will be plowed this winter.
They are fully staffed with truck drivers and are ready for when Mother Nature decides for the snow to come. However, they are looking for mechanics.

Usually, the township operates with six but they are currently short by four.
There are 19 plow trucks that complete 17 routes, which can often lead to frequent maintenance.
“Unfortunately a contract that was signed in 2017, tiered out payscale for our workers which is one of the reasons why we haven’t been able to fill the position is because of the pay that had been set back in 2017,” said Clear.
Clear said public safety is a priority in the township and they will continue to ensure safety while on the roads.
