Three people were taken to the hospital for evaluation following a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus in Millcreek Township Tuesday morning, according to township police and the Millcreek Township School District.
The accident was reported on Tuesday at 7:57 a.m. at West 26th Street and Crescent Drive.
According to police, the school bus was traveling south on Crescent Drive and was moving through the intersection when it collided with a vehicle that was traveling west on West 26th Street. Both drivers said they had the green light, Millcreek Police Chief Carter Mook said.
The Millcreek Township School District bus was carrying six students to the Sarah Reed Hamilton Campus when the accident occurred, the district reported in a statement released after the accident. Two students and the bus driver were transported for medical evaluation, and the other students were picked up by another bus to continue to school or were released to their parents, according to the statement.
Millcreek police are investigating the accident.
