( WJET/WFXP ) — Millcreek students and a bus driver were transported to a hospital for evaluation after a vehicle collided with a school bus on Tuesday.
This happened just before 8 a.m. as a Millcreek school bus was traveling south on Crescent Drive at the intersection with West 26th Street when another vehicle, traveling west on 26th Street, entered the intersection and collided with the bus.
School district officials said the bus was transporting six students to the Sarah Reed Hamilton campus.
Two students and the bus driver were taken to the hospital for what Millcreek police have reported as minor injuries.
The other four students were picked up by another bus to continue to school or be released to their parents.
Millcreek police are working with First Student, Inc. to review bus camera footage and will continue to investigate.
