A local medical center giving back to those who served asked for veterans’ input.

The Erie VA Medical Center hosts a town hall to engage local veterans in the community about what the facility offers and hear public feedback on improvements.

The initiative also covered multiple topics such as their collaboration with the Veterans Benefits Administration and their upcoming primary care expansion by 10,000 feet to reach more in need.

“We are here to serve our veteran community in the erie community and our surrounding outpatient clinics and so the feedback we get goes into how we adapt and change and provide additional services here at the facility,” said John Jennarrow, medical center director of the Erie VA.

The meeting also discussed the “Pact Act” for veterans who came into contact with toxic exposures.
