A 63-year-old Millcreek Township woman was seriously injured Thursday night when she was struck by a car while crossing Peach Street in the township.
The accident was reported on Thursday at about 6:15 p.m. in the 5500 block of Peach Street.
According to Millcreek police, the woman, whose name was not released, was walking across Peach Street when she was struck by a Ford Taurus that was traveling south on Peach Street. The woman was taken by Millcreek Paramedic Service to UPMC Hamot, where she was admitted into the intensive care unit with severe injuries, police reported.
The driver of the Ford Taurus stopped after the accident and remained on scene, police reported.
