City of Erie sees temporary road closure after tree falls on car Monday evening

A tree fell on a car in the City of Erie Monday night.

It was reported around 7:00 p.m. in the 1400 block of Atkins Street.

Reports from the scene indicated the vehicle came under a tree causing the entire block to be closed to traffic while emergency crews worked.

Cable lines were down resulting from the accident but there was no reported power outage in that area.

No injuries were reported.
