New rainbow bridge added to Fabrizi Dog Park for grieving pet owners

It’s considered as an easier way for pet owners to grieve the loss of their furry friends that have crossed the rainbow bridge.

One pet owner said the hometown project by Lowe’s Home Improvement allows people to reflect on the lives of their pets.

The moment when a pet crosses the “rainbow bridge” can be a difficult time for pet owners.

To help those pet owners who are grieving, a rainbow bridge has been constructed at Fabrizi Dog Park at McClelland Park on Erie’s east side.

“We love our furry friends so we wanted to dedicate something to the pet owners and someplace they can come to mourn and remember the pets they have lost in the past,” said Jennifer Albrewczyski, the operations assistant store manager at Lowe’s Home Improvement.

The operations assistant store manager said the project came to life with help from the associates from constructing to painting the bridge.
