Two arrested after police raid uncovers drugs, vintage guns in Chautauqua Co.

Jamestown, NY ( WJET/WFXP ) — Two people are in police custody after a police raid in Jamestown, NY uncovered different kinds of drugs along with a World War II-era rifle.

Members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Taskforce along with the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force executed that raid at an apartment in the 20 block of Hazzard Street finding two people inside just before noon Monday.

Police said once the residence was secured, investigators began their search finding 20.5 grams of cocaine, 11.5 grams of fentanyl, 16 Clonazepam pills, a quantity of suboxone strips, $313 cash, scales, a replica pistol and a Springfield M1 Garand rifle suspected of being stolen.

Both occupants, 28-year-old Collin A. Slack and 22-year-old Nakeya I. Hardy both of Jamestown, were taken into custody.

Police said Slack was under the supervision of New York State Parole while Hardy had numerous outstanding warrants from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Ellicott Police Department. Both are also previously convicted felons and are not legally permitted to possess a firearm.
