ERIE, PA – The temperatures will be relatively mild on Monday, but periods of rain are likely on Monday morning. Watch out for some poor drainage flooding due to melting snow and pockets of heavy rain.
The steadiest rain tapers off through the day, with just a few leftover spotty showers or sprinkles around for the late afternoon. The warmer weather pattern persists tonight and Tuesday. Most of Tuesday will be dry before rain showers return later in the day.
Big changes lie ahead for mid-week! As a cold front moves through on Wednesday, expect the temperatures to plummet again. This will result in rain showers changing to wet snow showers throughout the day, with a slushy accumulation by late Wednesday.
By Thursday, the winds become favorable, and sharply colder air arrives. Expect more significant lake-effect snow again, with several inches by Thursday night. Stay tuned to Your Weather Authority as the forecast develops.
