A fire damaged a home on Erie’s west side Tuesday night.
Firefighters were called to the 2600 block of Greengarden Boulevard just before 10:00 p.m. for what began as a reported chimney fire.
Additional units were then called to assist.
According to Deputy Fire Chief Fred Gillespie, the fire spread from the chimney into the attic of the house.
Gillespie said everyone made it out of the house and there were no injuries reported.
