The Second Harvest Food Bank is making sure those in need receive a meal during one of the most challenging times of the year.

The food bank is beginning its 19th annual holiday meal campaign.
They’re asking community members, including individuals, businesses and groups to give monetary donations. Their goal is $80,000.

Development director Breanna Watts said this time of year can be especially difficult for neighbors in need.
“Nothing brings people together more than sharing a meal together and being able to have that special time where it’s just you and your family and reflecting on the last year and your highs and lows. So being able to give that our community is really the mission and the core values of what we have here at the food bank,” said Watts,
