4th annual Presque Isle Lights kicks off after recent snowfall

The Christmas fun continued on Friday over at the peninsula throughout Presque Isle State Park.

The fourth annual Presque Isle Lights has returned as a fundraiser for the park.

Pat Davis with the Presque Isle Partnership said the snowstorm was a factor in preparing the lights.

However, she credited the committee and volunteers for their resiliency throughout the conditions.

Davis said there are many displays throughout the park and the event isn’t just a visual experience.

“They can tune into 93.9 and Classy 100 FM, and if they want Christmas music throughout the park, they’ve got it,” said Pat Davis | Presque Isle Partnership.

People are also encouraged to donate at the second lot after entering the park.

For every $5 donation, you’ll receive a Presque Isle Lights button and can register your button for a chance to win a $1,000 Country Fair gas card.
