A birthday wish turns into a way to help others.
The annual “Share the Power of a Wish” fundraiser at Room 33 in Downtown Erie brought the community together to support Erie’s Make-A-Wish.

The event was hosted by Conor Amendola, a former Wish kid dedicated to helping grant wishes for other children with critical illnesses.
After his family has learned much about the make-a-wish organization and felt such a positive impact on his health and his life… He now wants to pay it forward.

“These places and institutions like Make a Wish, they give us so much but oftentimes they rely on the community to help them support Make a Wish to keep these wishes happening. And so without us giving back these organizations can’t do what they need to do,” said Amendola.
Since 2015 Amendola has raised more than $70,000 for Make-A-Wish.
