Three Charged After West Ellicott Search Warrant Yields Narcotics and Weapons

Three men were taken into custody Wednesday afternoon after a lengthy investigation into drug activity at an address in West Ellicott. Investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Police Department, Dunkirk Police Department and Ellicott Police Department executed a search warrant at 185 East Livingston Avenue shortly before 3:30 PM, with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team making entry. Investigators seized 9.51 grams of cocaine, 5.0 grams of methamphetamine, a quantity of crack cocaine, prescription pills, a semiautomatic rifle, a large-capacity magazine, scales and packaging material, and $2,000 in cash. 52-year-old Kevin Wright of Jamestown was charged with 3rd- and 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, plus 3rd- and 4th-degree criminal possession of a weapon. 28-year-old Michael Pace-Segura of Jamestown faces counts of 3rd- and 4th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. 68-year-old Donald Ruppert of the Town of Busti was charged with 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Wright and Pace-Segura were both transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment, while Ruppert was issued an appearance ticket and released.
