Children at the Saint Benedict’s Child Development Center received a special visitor on Thursday.
JET 24’s own Lou Baxter was invited by teacher Rosemary Chapman to read to about a dozen preschoolers.
Baxter selected the classic holiday story ‘T’was the Night before Christmas” to read to the kids.
He said having 11 grandchildren of his own has given him the opportunity to prepare for events like Thursday’s.
