A Jamestown man was charged with DWI after colliding with an EMS vehicle. On Friday around 8pm, Jamestown Police Officers responded to an MVA PD on E. 2nd St for an intoxicated operator. Upon investigation, officers found that 61-year-old Rafael Rodriguez had allegedly collided with an occupied Chautauqua County EMS vehicle while entering a parking lot. Officers later determined that Rodriguez had allegedly been driving while intoxicated. Rodriguez was placed into custody and transported to the Jamestown Police Department where he was submitted to a chemical breath test, which resulted in a BAC three times the legal limit. Rodriguez was charged with 1st degree Felony AUO, Aggravated DWI above .18% BAC, DWI Per Se, and Consumption of Alcohol in Motor.
