Two Pennsylvania teens face murder charges as schoolyard feud leads to fatal shooting of classmate

Erie police believe that a dispute at Erie High School in Pennsylvania on December 17 led to a violent confrontation later that day, where a 17-year-old boy was shot dead and another critically injured .

Bibbs was charged under the Fisher Bill, a state law that allows juveniles accused of violent crimes to be tried as adults . The duo is alleged to have participated in a shooting around 3:55 p.m. on Tuesday at West 31st and Liberty streets, which resulted in the death of 17-year-old Armoni Cantu and left another teenager critically wounded.

Cantu died from a gunshot wound to the chest, and his death was ruled a homicide, said Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook on Wednesday.

The other 17-year-old, whose name has not been released, was shot in the face and transported to a Pittsburgh hospital, according to police and criminal complaints, according to Erie Times News .
