Smoke towers from Summit Twp. building fire Sunday

Fire crews responded to a structure fire in Summit Township Sunday afternoon.

That fire broke out just after 3:30 Sunday afternoon.

When crews arrived on scene, they found smoke and flames coming from the building located in the 8300 block of Oliver Road in Summit Township.

Firefighters battled the cold temperatures as well as the fire. Crews brought the blaze under control in about an hour.

No word on whether the building was occupied at the time and it’s unknown if anyone was injured.
