Christmas came early for several families facing homelessness in Erie.
Tuesday, a young boy that’s become known as the Pipsqueak Mailman and his family donated all sorts of items to families in need today, just in time for the holidays.

What started as a few boxes of donations that filled the back seat of a car turned into a mountain of boxes packed tight into a Uhaul truck.
Jessten Kento-Oblinski, who has become known as the Pipsqueak Mailman, and his family are hoping to continue putting smiles on people’s faces.
This time, for EUMA’s the refuge on East 26th Street which houses 36 people, including children who are facing homelessness.
“It’s the only family shelter that’s in Erie, so it welcomes the whole entire family and I love that about them. They also help with programs after to get them into housing,” said Kristen Kento-Oblinski, the donation drive organizer.
