A long-term, multi-agency narcotics probe in Jamestown ended with three arrests Monday morning. Narcotics investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Police Department, Dunkirk Police Department and DEA executed simultaneous search warrants at 40A Shirley Lane and the lower apartment of 58 McKinley Avenue shortly before 9:30 AM. Investigators seized 298.8 grams of cocaine, scales and packaging material for the distribution of narcotics, two handguns, an assault rifle, five high-capacity magazines, and $4,984 in cash. 25-year-old Frank Nazario was charged with one count of 1st-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of 1st-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, one count of 2nd-degree criminal possession of a weapon and five counts of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a weapon. 20-year-old Joliet Santos-Guzman faces two counts of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of 2nd-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, one count of 2nd-degree criminal possession of a weapon and five counts of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a weapon. 30-year-old Gabriel Galan-Alvarez was charged with 1st-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a firearm and 2nd-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. All three suspects were transported to the Jamestown Police Department and were arraigned in Jamestown City Court.
