Teenager stabbed, truck stolen following Christmas Day verbal dispute

( WJET/WFXP ) – A teenager was stabbed and had his truck stolen on Christmas after getting into a verbal dispute with another man according to police.

On Wednesday, December 25, Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) responded to a reported stabbing and carjacking in Erie County.

According to police, the incident occurred after a 19-year-old Wattsburg resident asked a 34-year-old Corry man to drive him and his truck home because he had drunk too much alcohol.

The report states that the two men got into an argument during the drive, and when the 19-year-old refused to get out of the car the Corry man threatened to beat up the teenager.

PSP reported that the teenager was stabbed above the eye and hit in the back of the head several times by the Corry man’s fist.

Following the assault, the teenager exited the vehicle and fled to the Brookside Fire Department for medical treatment.

Police reported that the 34-year-old man then stole the truck and drove it into the City of Erie where it was later recovered.
