‘This is the time to do it’ – Personal health, fitness continue to top New Year’s resolution lists

Resolutions and lifestyle changes are a common part of the new year, with many promising to hit the gym.

Personal health and fitness are the number one things people said they’re going to do better on at the start of the new year.

The general manager of iRock Fitness said they do see an influx of new gym members this time of year, but the important thing is sticking with it.

“Everyone’s afraid to start, but the biggest thing is getting yourself to the gym, get yourself to whatever your fitness goal is or goal in general. This is the time to do it,” said Taylor Bloom, general manager of iRock Fitness.

Other popular New Year’s resolutions are to save more money, spend more time with family or friends and to quit smoking.
