A new year brings new development to downtown Erie. There are so many projects the Erie Downtown Development Corporation has in store.
The CEO said these changes are thanks to many collaborative efforts.
Erie leaders hopeful for future with CRIZ application now approved
Downtown Erie will be seeing a huge amount of revitalization and growth over the next decade. 2025 Is just the beginning of the vision.
According to the CEO of the Erie Downtown Development Corporation (EDDC), the previous year has really set them up with a plan to not only bring opportunity to the area, but to make sure it’s sustainable as well.
“We are still with a lot of locally owned small new businesses,” said Drew Whiting, CEO of the EDDC. “Taking a look at how we’re performing where we currently have building and tightening things up.”
Currently under construction – a Country Fair store located on North Park Row and Dave’s Diner on the corner of Peach and 5th Streets.
