Grab a putter and a beer. Hazards Mini Golf and Social Pub now open in Erie

During a tour of Hazards Mini Golf and Social Pub on the second floor at 419 State St. back in November, a lot of uncertainty was still looming in the room with a few important details.

Co-owners Tony Arrigo and Tom McQueeney were still deciding when opening day would be, what the final menu would include, and there still were a few holes being worked on.

On Dec. 29, following a soft opening on Dec. 14, Hazards officially opened in downtown Erie after the approval of their liquor license.

While the business may not have been “…100% ready…”, Arrigo said they “…wanted to get going while making some revenue and (be) open to family and friends that were in town.”

Arrigo said that they still have to finish up some final construction, but he said the community was impressed overall with what they have seen.

“It went well, it honestly did,” Arrigo said. “It was busy…We did well on the mini golf side and on the regular sales side.”
