Swifties had an enchanted time downtown on Saturday.

The downtown Erie community skating rink held its “Taylor Swift Day.” There were costume and trivia contests, as well as karaoke.

Last year, the rink asked the public what themes they wanted and Taylor Swift was the most requested day.

“We just open at noon and people are all ready to go and lined up. We’re here until 8 p.m. It is $5 a person which includes your skates. People are troopers here in Erie, we’re used to the snow and we’re used to the weather so as soon as we could get it shoveled off, people came,” said Kimberly McMahonsmith, rink manager for the downtown skating rink.

On Sunday, the rink will be holding its very first “Sensory Sunday.”
