The Erie-Western PA Port Authority has approved a deal to lease a part of their property for ship repairs.
Shipbuilding and repair company Donjon has begun preparations to receive and work on a large vessel.
Depending on several factors, the ship could be docked at the foot of Holland Street by Wednesday, Jan. 15.
The executive director of the port authority said they are pleased to see Donjon extra busy during this season.
