Jamestown Man Jailed After Becoming Combative with Dunkirk Police Officers

A Jamestown man is being held in the Chautauqua County Jail following a pair of incidents in the City of Dunkirk, where he allegedly became combative with police officers. Dunkirk Police were called to an establishment in the 200 block of Central Avenue shortly before 5:00 PM on January 1st and made contact with 42-year-old Kenneth Mosley, who became disorderly and refused to leave. Officers say Mosley then became combative with them, and he was taken into custody after a brief struggle. While being held at the Dunkirk Police Department’s secure jail facility, Mosley allegedly became combative with officers again, spitting blood and saliva into one officer’s eye. That officer was treated at a hospital and released. Mosley, who is currently on active supervised probation, was charged with a felony count of aggravated harassment of an employee by an inmate, plus 2nd-degree obstruction and disorderly conduct. He is currently being held on $40,000 bail.
