On Sunday at 3:51 p.m. an updated winter storm watch was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Tuesday 1 a.m. until Thursday 1 a.m. for Northern Erie and Southern Erie.
The weather service states to expect, “Heavy lake effect snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 8 and 16 inches possible.”
“Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes,” describes the weather service. “Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation.”
