BURGETTSTOWN, Pa. – Grove City won the 34-team Burgettstown Invitation Saturday scoring 208.5 points well ahead of second-place Armstrong, who scored 183.
The Eagles were one of five District 10 teams at the invite with Sharpsville taking fifth, Meadville 10th, Cochranton 15th, and Maplewood 17th.
Grove City had three champions with Chase Karenbauer winning by technical fall (16-0 at 5:40) at 107 pounds over Pine-Richland’s Bennett Ferraro, Hudson Hohman winning at by technical fall (18-3 at 3:13) at 145 pounds over Sharpsville’s Jonathan Bissell, and Cody Hamilton winning at 152 pounds with a 7-2 decision over Elizabeth-Forward’s Lucas Boyer…
