GIRARD — Robert Lytle insisted he wasn’t privy to Westway Lanes’ oil patterns before this weekend’s Times-New Open qualifying rounds.
The son of owners Tom and Marie Lytle also insisted he didn’t want to know, lest there be accusations of favoritism.
“The tough thing with having this tournament here,” Robert Lytle said, “is you’re still kind of working the whole time and making sure everything runs well. Having this here was more stressful than (competing) anywhere else.”…
