The public’s feedback is being requested in an anonymous survey by the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority (EMTA) in an effort to improve services.
The CEO Jeremy Peterson said passengers are a key component and their feedback is always wanted.

He said a transit development plan is in the works for 2025 and the survey and plan will give staff an indea of what passengers expect from EMTA.
“The service that we provide and we put on the road has to make sense. There’s a lot of demographic shifts, especially with the huge new American population in Erie, and there’s also been business and industrial shifts too,” said Peterson. “So, we have to look and fine-tune the system and the routes themselves to better gauge where are we missing the boat.”
