Snow and freezing temps on the way for Pa.: Here’s the latest update

Break out the heated blankets, make sure the heaters are working, and buckle up folks because snow and frigid temperatures are on the way.

And, according to the National Weather Service’s latest update Saturday afternoon, it is not going to take the elements long to get here with a winter storm warning in effect from 4 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday for central Pennsylvania.

According to the weather service, heavy snow is expected during that time with the highest accumulations between 3-to-6 inches expected from the Laurel Highlands through the mid and lower Susquehanna Valley. Some areas could get up to as much as 7 inches…
