Western New York has entered the coldest stretch of this current spell of arctic air, with temperatures in the single digits throughout much of the region. But it’s even colder in some locations. Meanwhile, the higher elevations of Chautauqua County have seen even more frigid temperatures, including a -12 reading in Cassadaga.
