Molitor Gives Mixed Review of Hochul’s Proposed Budget

Chautauqua County’s new representative in the New York State Assembly has mixed reviews of Governor Kathy Hochul’s 2025-2026 budget proposal. Among the criticisms Andrew Molitor has about the $252 billion spending plan is the $19 billion increase in spending. Molitor says it still leaves too much of a burden on local property taxpayers because of unfunded mandates.
