An updated wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 3:17 p.m. valid from 4 p.m. until Thursday 6 a.m. for Northern Erie and Southern Erie.
The weather service says, “Southeast winds 20 to 30 mph becoming south with gusts up to 50 mph expected.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” explains the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
