Here’s when thunderstorms are expected to hit central Pa. today

After a gray, overcast Thursday morning, central Pennsylvania might see strong thunderstorms with damaging wind gusts this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in State College.

Much of Pennsylvania, including Dauphin, Cumberland, York, Perry, Lebanon and Adams counties, is under a hazardous weather “outlook” because of the possibility of slow-moving storms.

The weather service is calling for scattered showers until about 1 p.m., then isolated showers and storms after 3 p.m. with wind gusts as high as 30 mph.
