( WJET/WFXP )– With the deadline for federal enforcement of REAL ID drawing closer, PennDOT announced they’re hosting more REAL ID Days at DMVs around the area.
REAL ID Days will be held in Erie, Crawford, Mercer and McKean Counties with events also being held in 53 other locations around the Commonwealth every week until the deadline with the exception of Easter weekend.
Erie Regional Airport Authority hosting Global Entry event
Starting May 7, REAL ID, or another form of federally accepted ID like passports will be needed to do things like board domestic commercial flights, enter military bases or enter some federal facilities.
REAL ID Days will be held on April 14, 28 and May 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the following locations:
- Erie Driver License Center: 7200 Peach Street, Suite 480, Erie, PA 16509
- Meadville Driver License Center: 16942 Patricia Drive, Meadville, PA 16335
- Bradford Driver License Center: 68 Chestnut St, Bradford, PA 16701
- Mercer Driver License Center: 519B Greenville Road, Mercer, PA 16137 (Route 58)
During these events, staff members focus solely on getting REAL IDs processed with attendees required to bring proof of identity, Social Security number, two proofs of current PA address, and proof of all legal name changes if applicable.
