PennDOT to Begin Bridge Project on Old Route 99 in McKean Township

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is preparing to begin a project to replace the bridge that carries Old Route 99 over Lamson Run in McKean Township, Erie County.

According to PennDOT, work will include removal and replacement of three existing concrete bridges one at a time. The project will also include minimal paving at each end of the bridges, drainage improvements, guiderail updates, seeding, and new signs.

Construction is expected to begin on Monday, April 21 and is expected to be completed by December 2025…
