Erie Zoo kicks off their Glow Wild Chinese Lantern Festival

The Erie Zoo got a new look as a brand-new event kicked off Thursday night. Dozens of families came to the Erie Zoo to check out the lights for the first-ever Glow Wild event.

During the day, they just look like statues, but when the sun set, the Erie Zoo transforms into a glowing paradise.

“Beautiful lights, beautiful displays, it’s amazing, and it’s really nice to come out and see all the animals,” said Clifford Seibel, a City of Erie resident.
