Work to replace the bridge that carries Route 6 traffic over French Creek just south of Saegertown continued Monday.
The north side of the bridge has been completely removed and now efforts to take down the remaining decking have begun.

In addition to replacing the bridge, crews will replace the pavement on either side of the bridge, upgrade the guide rails and road markings, as well as stabilize the embankment with rock.
Work started in April, and if weather permits, PennDOT hopes to complete the project sometime in November…
