A local play is finishing up its shows this weekend, but it’s not too late to get your final tickets.
The Pizza Bomber Play is a show by David Durst that tells the story of the masterminds behind one of Erie’s most infamous criminal cases.

The play highlights the characters’ struggles with mental health leading up to the bank robbery, while also donating a part of the ticket sales to the Northwestern PA Mental Health Association.
“Yes, it’s a terrible story and it’s very tragic, but it’s a wonderful vehicle for showing how untreated mental health can ruin lives,” said David Durst, the playwright and director.
