(WNY News Now) – A 33-year-old man was arrested in Westfield after violating a protection order and attempting to flee law enforcement following a reported altercation.
WESTFIELD, N.Y. — On Thursday, May 8, 2025, at approximately 5:02 p.m., deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the Westfield Police Department responded to a reported altercation at a residence on North Portage Street in the Village of Westfield.
Upon arrival, law enforcement learned that the suspect, identified as Jonathan Vega-Rivera, 33, had allegedly violated a stay-away order of protection and threatened another individual with a screwdriver.
