Local athletes honored at 11th annual DiPaolo scholarship banquet

The life of a beloved principal, teacher, and coach was celebrated Wednesday night.

The 11th annual Patrick J. DiPaolo scholarship banquet was held Wednesday night.

South Hills Child Development Center teacher named Golden Apple Teacher of the Year

Ten student athletes from the region’s public and private schools were each awarded a $1,000 scholarship. Wednesday night’s event was held at the Sacred Heart church auditorium.

More than 120 students have received the Patrick J. Dipaolo scholarship over the past 11 years.
