(WJET/WFXP)– Residents of two of Erie County’s largest townships will have their garbage picked up an hour earlier next week due to high temperatures.
Waste Management Friday afternoon, both Millcreek and Harborcreek Townships will have their garbage picked up earlier, citing concern for the safety of pickup crews as temperatures are expected to break 90 degrees.

The time change will go into effect on Tuesday, June 24, for Millcreek Township and will start at the beginning of the week, according to the Harborcreek Township Facebook.
