Wild Wednesdays return to the Erie Zoo for July

Wild Wednesdays are back at the Erie Zoo.

Every Wednesday in July, the zoo will be open later than normal. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., visitors can experience family-friendly events, such as live entertainment, zookeeper talks, animal encounters and more.

Zoo members also receive perks, like free cake or a free carousel ride. They can also take part in special activities like creating enrichment items for the animals and putting them in the exhibits. Each Wednesday has a different perk.

Roo Kojancie, President and CEO of the Erie Zoo, is excited for guests to take part in Wild Wednesdays. “Evening visits to the zoo have a special kind of energy,” Kojancie said. “This year, Wild Wednesdays bring a refreshed experience that’s all about fun, connection, and creating new memories.”
