(WJET/WFXP) – One driver was taken to the hospital after crashing his car to avoid an animal on the road.
On Monday, June 16, Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Erie responded to a crash on Saltsman Road in Harborcreek Township.

According to police, the driver, a 23-year-old Erie resident, was traveling southbound on Saltsman Road when an animal walked onto the roadway.
